OUR STRAWBALE HOUSE PLANS - EAST ELEVATION
On our plot the best views, over the dam, are to the east so the orientation of the house, particularly
the tower and balcony are designed to maximise this. The low morning sun is not strong so
overheating is less of an issue. The area behind the arched door is a walled courtyard that will provide
a pleasant outdoor area sheltered from the wind. The area in front of the french doors is a covered patio.
