OUR STRAWBALE HOUSE PLANS - SOUTH ELEVATION
The south elevation will not get any direct sunlight so glazing is not desirable on this face.
It can be important, however, to have some way to allow ventilation through for summer cooling. In our
design the wind will be allowed to enter through window and doors the south and north faces and exit
through the high level clerestory windows. Double glazing and curtains will limit winter heat loss.
